An FBI background check is a federal document, so the apostille comes from the U.S. Department of State rather than a state office. It costs $300 for the first report and $150 for each additional one in the same request. We submit it in person, which is what keeps the timeline predictable: about two weeks from the day we file. Send us the FBI report and tell us the destination country; the finished document goes back to you anywhere in the United States or abroad.

The translations are certified as complete and accurate, have been accepted by USCIS for years, and can be notarized and apostilled in the same order.

For the countries in the Hague Convention, the apostille is the legalization step — that is our core service, and the rates are in the table above. Documents going to a country outside the Convention need consular legalization at that country's embassy instead, which is a separate process we do not handle. What we can add to an apostille order is certified translation.
